The claw foot can be paired with the 114CH or many other chainstitch embroidery machines to create high pile chenille work.
The the individual teeth allow the operator to create beautiful works in moss stitch without compressing the chenille, a common problem when using the regular rubber shoe foot.

This foot is a little bit shorter than the Singer 114W103 or Cornely A foot. It can still be used on those machines, but must be secured lower on the presser foot arm.
